Oregon Mennonite Festival for World Relief
October 12 @ 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
With the emphasis on agriculture and `addressing worldwide hunger issues, the Oregon Mennonite Festival for World Relief will hold its 36th annual event, Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 7:30 am – 2:00 pm at the Linn County Fair and Expo Center in Albany.
According to the Food Aid Foundation, almost 800 million people worldwide do not have enough food to lead a healthy lifestyle. And, the vast majority of the world’s hungry people live in developing countries, where 12.9 percent of the population is undernourished.
The Oregon Mennonite Festival for World Relief is a community fair that raises funds to meet needs through the global ministries of the Mennonite Central Committee. Last year’s festival raised more than $100,000 for worthy projects around the world.
The event features a live auction, great food, quality shops, handmade quilts, children’s activities, music, and more. Admission to the event and parking are free.
