St. Jude’s Distribution of FREE Fresh Food Boxes in Eugene, OR

St Jude’s Catholic Church is the local host for the Archdiocese of Portland Food Box Distribution Plan in partnership with the USDA Farmers to Families Program and Pacific Coast Fruit Company.
After a snow cancellation last weekend, distribution will start again this Saturday, February 20th and is expected to continue through March. 180 free food boxes weighing 25 pounds will be available every Saturday and will be given away with the help of the Knights of Columbus. The boxes typically include milk, potatoes, onions, apples, oranges, eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, butter, carrots and meat.
Every family is welcome to this FREE FOOD BOX on a First Come, First Served basis (maximum 1 box per car). No paper or voucher is needed. Boxes will be given away every Saturday thru March 27. The distribution is scheduled to run from 1030AM-1230PM or until supplies are gone. People are encouraged to come early.
People just need to show-up at the parking lot of St. Jude Church at 4330 Willamette Street in Eugene.
