Each year, more than 41,000 individuals die by suicide. We believe there may be no greater feeling of hopelessness than when one is feeling suicidal. Yet we believe God has a Hope and a future for every person on earth.
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time to share resources and Hope, in an effort to overcome the tragic effects of suicide. Whether you have been impacted by suicide, know someone who struggles with thoughts of suicide, or have considered it yourself, we want to provide some resources to bring hope to your life.
There are many organizations dedicated to preventing suicide and helping people deal with the effects of mental illness. Below are just a few resources available. While many of us carry a stigma about these issues, we simply wish to let those who are struggling know that there is help and there is a God that loves them.
